Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Multi-Trade Team Leader to manage the day-to-day projects and ensure the successful execution of construction tasks and Renovations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage a small team, communicate effectively with the admin/operations team and clients, and maintain high standards of quality and customer service across all projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction, with proficiency in various trades including carpentry and electrical work.

Duties

Lead and supervise a small team across to ensure timely project completion. Following communication from senior management of project be able to coordinate the daily activity and allocate time effectively to meet project deadlines. Liaising with the Business Owner and Admin colleagues about client installation plans. Hands-on Carpentry, Electrics and construction tasks, often the construction of Media Walls and Room Renovations. Conduct regular observation of the teams work to maintain safety standards and quality finishes. Utilise all provided tools and power tools for various construction tasks, ensuring proper usage and maintenance. Perform manual handling/lifting as required for the assembly and installation of materials. Ability to keep to a schedule of works for installations. Maintain open communication of project progress to Business Owner and report on any issues or delays.

Skills

Vast experience in carpentry, proficient in all carpentry techniques and practices. Strong knowledge and experience of hand tools and power tools used in construction. Good knowledge and experience to carry out electrical works. Ensure all the required tools and equipment is upon the company van for the days job. Ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and admin/operations team. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a small team.
