We are seeking a versatile and skilled Multi Trader to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a variety of maintenance, repair, and construction tasks across multiple trades. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a broad skill set in carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, and fabrication. The ideal applicant will demonstrate adaptability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in diverse environments.
Duties
Carry out carpentry tasks including framing, fitting, and repairs using hand tools and power tools.
Brick Laying skills
Ground Working Skills (concreting, digging etc)
Perform roofing work such as repairs, replacements, and maintenance to ensure structural integrity.
Conduct construction painting to prepare surfaces and apply protective coatings.
Install and repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and fittings.
Execute masonry work involving bricklaying, blockwork, or concrete repairs.
Utilise fabrication skills to create customised components or structures as required.
Operate various hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely across different trades.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high quality standards.
Requirements
Proven experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work or fabrication.
Demonstrable proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to construction and maintenance tasks.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
Flexibility to adapt to varying project requirements and environments.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in trades such as carpentry, plumbing or electrical work are desirable but not essential.
