Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills in various trades, including carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, and masonry. This role requires hands-on experience with both power and hand tools, as well as the ability to fabricate and repair structures efficiently. The Tradesman will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our facilities, ensuring that all work meets high standards of quality and safety.

Duties

Operate power tools and hand tools to perform various tasks related to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, welding, painting, and masonry. Fabricate components and structures according to specifications. Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing installations and equipment. Install roofing systems and ensure proper sealing and insulation. Collaborate with other tradesmen and contractors to complete projects on time. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Troubleshoot issues as they arise during projects and provide effective solutions.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Tradesman or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and other equipment relevant to various trades. Strong skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, welding, painting, masonry, and roofing. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Valid driver's licence may be required for travel between job sites.

Pay: 160.00-180.00 per day
