to join our expanding maintenance team, working across HMOs, supported accommodation and social housing properties.
You will carry out both planned maintenance and reactive day-to-day repairs.
Responsibilities
o Install & adjust FD30 fire doors
Door hanging & remedial works
Stud walls & partitions
Skirting, architrave & frames
Kitchen repairs & small fit-outs
Laminate & vinyl flooring
Small plumbing repairs (taps, leaks, toilets)
Replace sockets, switches & light fittings
General property maintenance
Mould treatment & stain blocking
Patch painting & touch-ups
Qualifications
Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, plumbing, or electrical work.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to construction trades.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Previous experience in construction painting is desirable.
Knowledge of health and safety standards within the construction industry.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction trades are advantageous but not essential.
Willingness to undertake training as required to enhance skills and knowledge. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their expertise across multiple facets of construction and maintenance. We value safety-conscious team players committed to delivering quality workmanship.
