We are seeking a reliable and dedicated multi-drop Delivery and collection Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required. Deliver packages to designated locations in a timely manner while maintaining the integrity of the items. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of goods.

Skills

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Proficient in driving vans or similar vehicles; experience with commercial driving is advantageous. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes is beneficial. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
