Key Responsibilities:

Safely drive a company van on a multi-stop delivery route. Physically load and secure products onto the van before departure. Deliver products to customers in a punctual and efficient manner. Provide excellent customer care during deliveries (friendly, professional interaction). Pay attention to detail regarding order accuracy, delivery paperwork, and condition of goods. Complete any necessary delivery notes or electronic proof of delivery.

Essential Requirements:

Full UK Driving Licence

(with no major endorsements relevant for van driving). Ability to load the vehicle (involves manual handling, some lifting). Willingness to work very early starts (typical for fresh food delivery, e.g. 3am-5am start times). Availability to work 4 days per week, including Saturdays (this is a fixed part of the schedule). Good communication skills for customer interactions.

What Is Provided:

Full Training: You will be trained on procedures, routes, and customer requirements. Uniform: Company clothing will be provided. PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): Such as safety shoes, hi-vis clothing, etc., will be provided.

What to Consider Before Applying:

Early Starts: "Very early starts" means you must be comfortable with early morning (often pre-dawn) reporting times. Physical Nature: The role requires loading and moving products, so a reasonable level of fitness is needed. Weekend Work: Saturday is a fixed working day in this 4-day week schedule. Customer-Facing: It's not just driving; you are the face of the company to customers.
This role is ideal for someone who is punctual, reliable, enjoys a non-office-based routine, and doesn't mind physical work and early mornings. The inclusion of full training, uniform, and PPE indicates a structured and supportive employer.
