We are looking for a Delivery Driver to join our team delivering on behalf of InPost. We require drivers with previous experience in the courier industry who can handle the pressures and expectations involved. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to think on your feet. Pay is per parcel and rates are negotiated based on area.
Due to the nature of pay being per parcel, we are looking for people with drive, ambition and the desire to earn as much as possible.
We are accepting applications from both those with their own vans, and those who need a van provided. Vans are available for rent. Those who are looking to rent a van need to be a minimum age of 24 for insurance purposes. Those providing their own van must provide proof of all relevant insurances.
Duties
Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Plan and organise your own route for the day using provided software.
Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured for transport.
Navigate efficiently to deliver products within designated time frames.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, through use of provided software.
Communicate effectively with customers and office staff regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Experience
Previous experience van driving is essential, previous delivery experience is much preferred.
Familiarity with warehouse operations is desired.
Proficient use of technology.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and team members.
A valid driving licence is required, with a clean driving record.
