MulitMedia Designer - LexisNexis Risk Solutions - Cardiff / Hybrid
The MultiMedia Designer is responsible for assisting the Senior Design Manager in maximising marketing lead generation through digital and printed mediums while developing and shaping customer perceptions of the LexisNexis brand and product offerings. You will help to manage, maintain and develop the UK website and promotional landing pages – implementing improvements as instructed by the Design Manager. This includes content management, user interface design, navigation structuring and conversion optimisation. You will also design and produce digital and printed content connected to insight-driven marketing initiatives for the UK region including promotional videos, social media content, PowerPoint presentations, infographics, advertising, brochures, whitepapers and exhibition graphics.

  • To produce video content under the direction of the Senior Design Manager
  • To design and produce insight-driven marketing emails, web pages, videos and downloadable content to boost customer interactions and increase lead generation
  • To create insight-driven design work based on marketing leadership specifications, needs and brand image (specialising in video and digital content)
  • To ensure job deadlines are met in due time, ensuring that job quality is nothing short of the best
  • To obtain approval by presenting all work to the Senior Design Manager
  • To follow filing procedures set out by the Senior Design Manager for the storage of creative assets and resources
  • To follow production, productivity and quality standards
  • To be actively involved in monitoring the Production Schedule, prioritising projects and allocation of time
  • To enhance department and organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • To help other departments by answering questions and responding to requests
  • To update job knowledge by participating in educational and training opportunities
  • To accomplish marketing and organisation mission objectives by completing related results as needed
  • To carry out general day to day duties as and when required to ensure the smooth running of the business

Skills / Qualifications:
  • Degree or equivalent in graphic/multimedia design
  • Solid design industry experience
  • Significant experience with video production
  • Understanding of web design/development concepts and processes
  • Experience with creating and managing production schedules
  • Highly skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Experience in using website content management systems such as WordPress and Sitecore.
  • HTML, CSS and Javascript skills are desirable.
