JR Plastering (UK) Ltd is a well-established company with a strong reputation in the construction and property sector.

We are now launching a new service division focused on clearance and cleaning. This exciting growth area will cover property clearance, deep cleaning, garden maintenance, and specialist works including biohazard and trauma cleaning.

Role Overview

We are seeking motivated and reliable Multi-Operatives to join our new clearance and cleaning division. This is primarily a clearance role, involving the removal of furniture, rubbish, belongings, and waste from a wide range of environments. In addition, you will support with cleaning, garden maintenance, and specialist jobs where required.

You will work across domestic properties, pubs, commercial premises, gardens, and occasionally specialist sites requiring biohazard awareness.

Applicants must be based in the Wigan area, as you will be teamed up with an existing team member from Wigan.

The role also involves some long-distance driving (shared) and the potential for working away when jobs require it.

Key Responsibilities

Lead on property clearances -- removing furniture, rubbish, personal belongings, and waste materials safely and efficiently.

Sort, load, and transport cleared items responsibly, ensuring recycling and disposal rules are followed.

Undertake general and deep cleaning of residential and commercial spaces.

Carry out garden maintenance and clearance work (lawn, hedges, weeds, outdoor waste removal).

Assist with specialist cleaning tasks (e.g. mould treatment, trauma/needle sweeps) with training provided.

Use appropriate tools, PPE, and equipment safely at all times.

Work as part of a small, efficient team to complete jobs to a high standard.

Ensure compliance with health & safety protocols, including COSHH awareness.

Requirements

Must be based in the Wigan area.

Full UK driving licence required (no more than 6 points).

CSCS card required.

Minimum of 2 years' clearance, cleaning, or garden maintenance experience.

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling -- clearance work can be physically demanding.

A positive, reliable, and professional attitude.

Strong attention to detail and pride in quality of work.

Flexibility to travel to different sites.

Willing and able to take part in long-distance driving (shared) and working away when required.

Comfortable working in challenging environments (with full PPE and support).
