This is a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to take on the role of Multisite Recruitment & Payroll Officer supporting 2 schools within a 5-mile radius of Reading It is the chance to become an integral member of the school teams and to contribute to the life chances of the young people in our schools and across the Trust.

Main responsibilities:
Compiling and updating advertisements, recruitment packs, job descriptions and person specifications being mindful of the principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Adding vacancies to the in-house recruitment portal
Placing adverts on various platforms including but not limited to Eteach, Indeed, TES, Gov.uk, LinkedIn and X.
Process the assigned school's payroll, accurately inputting data into the payroll system to ensure that appropriate employee starter/variation/leaver details are correctly set up in accordance with statutory and contractual requirements.
Ensure monthly changes are actioned in line with the monthly payroll deadlines.
Accurate inputting of both regular and ad-hoc payroll adjustments (e.g. factor changes, allowances, strike deductions, overtime claims).
Populate and maintain the HR & Payroll system by adding, amending, and cleansing the data to ensure personnel records are up to date
Diligent maintenance of the Single Central Record to ensure it is accurate and up to date;
You will need:
Educated to at least Level 2 in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above
CIPD Level 3/5 qualification
Access to a vehicle and the ability to drive, with a willingness to travel to and between schools as needed.
Demonstrable experience in a recruitment role
Good knowledge of employment law related to the role
Experience of various recruitment sources and platforms
Ability to deliver a customer focused service with a positive and supportive approach
Ability to work flexibly to support colleagues and the schools needs
