Resourcing Group are recruiting for one of the leading providers of building maintenance and engineering services. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer with expertise in air conditioning (AC) and HVAC systems. As an Air Conditioning Engineer, you will play a vital role in the efficient operation and maintenance of building AC/HVAC services. You will be responsible for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance on HVAC appliances, performing diagnostic checks, fault finding, and assisting the general maintenance team with various tasks. This role also involves participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota and ensuring accurate and timely completion of work-related documentation.

Main Duties:

• Perform routine PPM tasks in accordance with the SFG20 framework.
• Carry out reactive maintenance and electrical repairs on HVAC systems as required.
• Execute minor new works and complete the necessary certification.
• Attend site meetings or training sessions as necessary.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to tasks while on-site.
• Willingness to undertake additional duties in line with contract deliverables.
• Collaborate with other Mitie disciplines to provide multi-discipline services when required.
• Procure materials and equipment for work through the Supervisor or Manager.
• Be available for necessary work outside normal working hours with additional compensation.
• Participate in a call-out rota with additional remuneration.
• Support contract mobilization and change management initiatives.
• Maximize the use of mobile technology (Smartphone) for work-related tasks.
• Manage financial procedures and delivery efficiencies.
• Adhere to and promote the company\'s mission, vision, and values.
• Assist the site team in ensuring compliance with all Statutory and Legislative requirements.
• Adhere to clients\' operational procedures at all times.
• Obtain appropriate authorization for access into restricted areas from the client\'s representative.
• Complete risk assessments and worksheets for works undertaken and obtain authorization from the Clients representative.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience in maintenance, testing, and fault finding on various equipment, including HVAC systems and lighting (desirable).
• Refrigeration or Air Conditioning Specific Qualification (excluding F-Gas) such as NVQ Level 2 or 3, City & Guilds Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (7189) Level 2 or 3, or City & Guilds Refrigeration, Air-conditioning, and Heat Pump Systems (6090) Level 3.
• At least 5 years of experience in an Air Con specific service role (not installation).
• Experience with Packaged or Air handling equipment is preferable, as well as split-type systems.
• Experience working on commercial equipment, not domestic installations.
• C&G 236 Part 1 & 2.
• BS7671 Electrical Regulations.
• C&G 2391 Electrical Inspection and Testing (desired).
• Ideally, served a recognized trade training scheme.
• Ability to anticipate, diagnose, and repair faults proactively.
• Proficiency in recording work accurately on worksheets and computer-based systems.
• Effective prioritization of workload.
• Flexibility and adaptability to change, including a flexible approach to work and working hours.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Professional appearance, utilizing issued uniform and PPE to represent the company.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Sound understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and its application within the role.
• Good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance.
• Ability to carry tools and equipment by hand up to 20kg.
• Capability to ascend/descend vertical access equipment and work at height.
• Full UK driving license is essential.
