Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills in various trades, including roofing, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. This role requires a hands-on individual who can effectively utilise both power and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard. The Tradesman will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and repairing structures while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Perform roofing tasks including installation and repairs of various roofing systems. Execute masonry work such as bricklaying, stonework, and concrete finishing. Assemble and fabricate components for construction projects as required. Carry out plumbing installations and repairs, ensuring all work meets relevant codes. Undertake carpentry tasks including framing, joinery, and cabinetry work. Conduct electrical installations and maintenance under supervision or as qualified. Utilise power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times. Collaborate with other tradesmen and contractors to ensure project completion on time. Adhere to health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in multiple trades such as roofing, masonry, plumbing, carpentry, or electrical work is essential. Proficiency in using both power tools and hand tools relevant to the trades. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship. Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately. Good physical fitness with the capability to perform manual labour for extended periods. Relevant certifications or qualifications in any of the trades are an advantage but not mandatory. A valid driving licence may be required depending on job site locations.
