We are looking for a Multi Skilled technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of our client's premises. The ideal candidate will be a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention for detail who is able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines.
Main site will be Hemel Hempstead (up to 4 days) with travel to one of our South sites at least 1 day a week.
South sites - Farnborough, Salisbury, Central London (Train cost covered) & Southampton
Job Outline
Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults.
Diagnosing breakdown problems.
Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly.
Electrical installations and fault finding.
Carrying out quality inspections on jobs and subcontractor supervision and issuing permits.
Working towards becoming LVAP to carry out switching operations on LV equipment.
Liaising with client departments, and CBRE supply partners.
Reporting to the Technical Manager and liaising on tasks.
Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.
Improving health and safety policies and procedures in line with CBRE guidelines.
Client-facing role requires strong customer service skills.
Efficiency and organisation skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills (Emails, Job sheets, PDA usage).
40-hour week 7am - 4pm (One hour lunch break).
General handyman activities and skillset building desks, putting up notice boards, Unblocking toilets and trains etc.
Assistance with small moves around the building.
Carrying out weekly fire alarm tests and Legionella control measures as per risk assessments.
Upkeep of site logbooks, E-logbooks and compliance documentation.
Daily liaising with clients, Technical Manager and Facilities Manager
Assisting Technical Manager and Facilities Manager with internal and external audits.
Ad hoc duties as and when requested by either the Technical Manager or clients
