Job Description

TP Fire & Security, a BAFE accredited industry leading provider of Fire Protection and Security systems who have been established for over 35 years, are looking for an experienced multi-disciplined fire and security engineer to join the growing company, serving customers of quality and prestige.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Experience in Installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault finding of Fire and Security Systems for an NSI & BAFE registered company Competent in the Installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault finding of Fire, Access control systems, Intruder alarms and CCTV systems. Competent on Conventional & Addressable fire systems including Advanced, Kentec, Ctec, Morley, Gent, Notifier Vesda etc. Experience in the use associated fire and security software. Experience with intruder alarms with key experience in Galaxy, Texecom, Eaton etc. Experience with IP CCTV systems with key experience in Hikvision, Dahua, Axis and Avigilon etc. Experience with Access control systems with key experience in Paxton, ACT Vanderbilt, Grosvenor etc. Experience with emergency lighting. Must have working knowledge and experience of the current British Standards for fire systems, Intruder alarms, Access control and CCTV. Ability to diagnose, repair faults and propose solutions without supervision. Must be competent in IT related products for Security and Communication devices and Computer literate in MS Office suite (preferably Word & Excel) Take part in the on call rota Share experience and knowledge with other team members

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Qualifications/Experience in BS5839, BS50131, PD6662, BS60839, NCP109, BS8418, BS6276, NCP104 and BS5266/FIA Units preferable Training plan provided to keep up with current standards and products. Proven IP experience

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Permit to work in the UK (foreign National) Must have a full, clean driving licence. An ECS or CSCS card is desirable. Must be self-motivated, well presented and have diligent work ethic as working remotely from the office. Must be able to satisfy vetting to BS7858 and Enhanced DBS checks will be required for this role. PASMA and IPAF desirable Customer focussed. Inquisitive, diligent, and logical Articulate, with good administration skills.
