Multi Skilled Warehouse Operative

Reports to: Logistics Manager

Overall Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to operate a forklift truck and control stock management as instructed by the Logistics Manager.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Ensure work is compliant with relevant health and safety, environmental and GMP practice.
Report matters of Health & Safety directly to your manager or deputy.


Maintain working area to required audit standards (15min ready)


Report FLT/equipment and breakdowns/damage to your manager or deputy.


Manage unloading/loading of deliveries/collections, complete relevant compliance checks, stock control and storage of goods into warehouses.


Ensure stock is controlled to meet FIFO rules.


Use SAP/WMS functions (including scanning) to manage inventory levels.


Complete bi-weekly housekeeping and manual stock checks.


Financial mid/year end stocktakes (SOX compliance)


Provide cross functional support to roles within the Logistics Department.


Any other reasonable task as requested by your supervisor/manager

Qualifications

Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent).


Reach and Counterbalance licence signed off by Lamb Weston rep +PPPT - RPPT


Full driving licence


Lamb Weston chemical training, H+S, GMP

Experience

FLT Operations(4yrs). Manufacturing warehouse (2-3yrs) Knowledge of RF Scanning systems and management of.


SAP & SAP/WMS experience.
