Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery and carpentry, demonstrating proficiency with both hand and power tools. This role involves the fabrication and assembly of wooden structures, ensuring that all work meets high-quality standards. The successful applicant will be responsible for various tasks, including painting and plumbing, contributing to the overall efficiency of our projects.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures according to specifications and design plans. Fit doors/fire doors Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials. Perform painting tasks to enhance the appearance of finished products. Ensure all work is plumb and level, adhering to safety regulations and quality standards. Conduct heavy lifting as required during the assembly and installation processes. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and to specification. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring tools and materials are stored safely.

Experience

Proven experience in joinery or a related field is essential. Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and heavy lifting techniques is required. Previous experience as a carpenter or in a similar role would be advantageous. Knowledge of electrical systems is a plus but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical drawings accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 3-6 months

Pay: 140.00-160.00 per day
