The role
As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you\'ll have a role that\'s out of the ordinary. You will undertake planned preventative and reactive maintenance, assist with scenario setup and training support duties within a busy training centre environment.

Day to day, you will assist the Facilities & Maintenance Team Leader with duties, including but not limited to:

• Establishing compliance with Health Safety & Environmental Procedures, Risk Assessments (RA\'s), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP\'s), Management Procedures, and Quality Systems to ISO9002.
• Supervision and contributions towards H&S \xe2\x80\x9cSafe Systems of Working\xe2\x80\x9d, including contractor control & authorisation/permit to work processes
• Undertake responsibilities for policing site activities and ensuring compliance and enforcement of site procedures.

Essential experience of the Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer:

• IT literate MS Office applications.
• Current full driving licence.
• Knowledge of the current IEE Regulations.
• Knowledge, experience and capability to diagnose equipment faults to a component or module replacement level, on single & 3 phase ac electrical systems utilising appropriate test equipment e.g., Insulation resistance & multi meter.

This is a full time role based on site in Cardiff.

Minimum Qualifications required:

• BTEC/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical / Electronic Engineering discipline and supporting on the job experience.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve basic DBS security clearance for this role
