Based in Craigavon, Co. Armagh, we specialise in pre-packed, peeled and processed potatoes suppplying food retailers, caterers and food processing companies with a range of products.


We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a permanent full-time

Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer on day shifts

to join our team of engineers.

Responsibilities:

Performing planned and reactive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operations Responding to breakdowns and providing corrective actions to minimise machine downtime Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues Installation of new equipment, plant and machinery Sourcing, ordering and collecting parts Provide technical assistance to other departments on machine capabilities to improve overall efficiency Maintain accurate maintenance records using in-house system

Qualifications:

Hold a qualification in an electrical discipline e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent or time served, with extensive relevant electrical engineering experience in industry, ideally in a high-volume food manufacturing plant; Have a minimum of 4 year's relevant maintenance engineering experience. Ideally experienced in FMCG or other fast paced manufacturing environment. Have basic computer skills Be pro-active and take a practical approach to problem solving and decision making. Be able to work efficiently, effectively, accurately and on own initiative with minimum supervision as well as part of a team in a fast-paced working environment; Professional manner, strong interpersonal/communication skills and the ability to build good rapport at all levels; Must have the right to live and work in the United kingdom

Benefits:
