What will you be doing?
As Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will provide engineering support across our manufacturing site. You will be working on a bespoke 12-hour rotating shift pattern, which offers you that much-needed work/life balance. This department offers excellent progression opportunities with banded pay grades and annual skills assessments, which will see you earn a salary of between 49,695 - 57,177 per annum.
Safety:
Developing, maintaining and following safe working practices (SSW & RA).
Actioning near miss reports and incident remedies as assigned. Providing feedback of actions.
Supporting safety related improvements/initiatives.
Ensuring documentation is completed meeting site procedures and legislation.
Providing coaching across manufacturing operations to adopt a culture of safe working.
Following all site HS&E procedures at all times
Quality:
Reviewing module health status and ensuring remedial actions are taken to support module and system capability.
Supporting Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) - ensuring maintenance works are recorded and the workplace is clean and free from obstruction.
Delivery:
Ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are used at all times.
Maintaining plant and associated equipment on site.
Utilising the CMMS system to record all work.
Providing liaison route to shift teams, providing feedback on any significant issues.
Managing spare parts appropriately.
Monitoring equipment condition, identifying areas requiring additional PM work and communicating accordingly.
Ensuring any remedial activity is robust and complete.
Cost:
Supporting management of maintenance costs.
Assisting in raising awareness of high value parts and ensure repairable parts from the assets are returned in a timely manner for repair.
Developing/implementing process improvement and cost avoidance programs.
Compliance:
Adhere to the Company's compliance obligations, policies, processes, and procedures.
Report compliance concerns, issues, and failures.
Participate in training as required.
What do you need?
You should:
Be educated to minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline(s).
Have a strong ability to fault find and provide rectification to either mechanical or electrical systems.
Have exposure to continuous improvement methodologies and ability to analyse data to achieve a desired outcome.
Have previous experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
Be experienced in using a CMMS - Pirana would be advantageous.
Be a true team player who can work collaboratively or on own initiative in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Be PC literate and competent in the use of MS Office suite.
