Salary: 29,516.61 to 34,617.61 per annum (including allowances)
Location: Brookvale Depot, Northfleet, Gravesend
Status: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week

The role

------------


We are a DSO where we maintain our own housing stock of approx. 5700 properties in the Gravesend area. We are looking for a Carpenter to join the team to maintain and install all elements in the Carpentry field to a high standard.

Main responsibilities

The successful candidate should be able to manage their time well, work in a team or under their own initiative. GBC carry out emergency repairs where a make safe and repairs are carried out to leave the tenant secure in their home. We also install new items within the GBC housing stock which include repairing kitchen units or full replacement, worktop replacement, bath panels and frames are fitted along with internal and external timber doors. We have a lot of PVC within GBC properties so a good understanding of this would be advantages.

Essential qualifications/experience

City and guilds or equivalent in Carpentry Minimum of 10 year's experience IT literate working an automated appointment system including report righting of potential follow works and what may be required. Experience of working within in the Plumbing industry. Demonstrable ability to produce, interrogate and report statistical information as required. Demonstrable ability to make decisions Excellent team player, with enthusiasm for change and development. Full driving licence
