The role:
We are seeking a multi-skilled operative to join our team (preferably based in West Yorkshire). We are looking for someone who is eager to train in a variety of skills to join our specialist company.
If you have experience in, or are willing to learn, any of the following, we would like to hear from you:
Masonry repairs
Wall tie replacement
Damp proofing and remedial timber treatment works
Membrane application
Plastering (inc bonding & dry lining)
Floor/skirting replacement
1st & 2nd fix joinery - Floor/skirting replacement etc
Training will be provided to the right candidate. This may include a mix of on-the-job training and courses.
This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) Monday to Friday.
Main duties will be (but not limited to):
Carrying out remedial repair treatments to buildings predominantly in the Yorkshire area (sometimes we may go a little further afield and there may some working away involved).
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, following all health and safety guidelines.
Delivering outstanding customer service.
Carrying out maintenance checks to tools and equipment.
Taking part in Health and Safety training as required.
The ideal candidate will actively promote our products and services, contributing to the company's growth and success.
Requirements:
Some buildings knowledge and experience of working in the building or construction industry would be great.
Experience in using power tools.
Good communication skills.
Work well in a team environment.
Motivated to learn and progress.
A friendly and helpful attitude is essential. We're looking for someone who genuinely cares about both customers and colleagues.
The following skills are desirable but not essential:
An understanding of Health and Safety regulations would be advantageous.
Recognised H&S qualification for example IOSH, maybe even NEBOSH.
Completion of Property Care Association courses.
CSCS Card
Full clean driving license
