Overview:

We are looking for a motivated Multi-Skilled Operative to join our customer care team on new build construction sites.

Working on a Sub - Contractor basis.

The ideal candidate will have a range of trade skills and a proactive attitude towards customer service. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality work and addressing any issues or defects in properties in pre or post-completion, ensuring a positive experience for new homeowners.

Own van and tools are essential for this position

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting maintenance and remedial works in newly built homes, including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting, tiling, and basic electrical tasks. Responding to customer care requests, addressing concerns or defects promptly and efficiently. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Completing and submitting necessary paperwork, including reports, time sheets, and defect logs. Working collaboratively with other operatives and trades on-site.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in multiple trades (carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, basic electrical works). Strong understanding of building materials and construction processes. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage client expectations and resolve issues. Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time effectively. Full UK driving license and own transport and own tools (due to traveling between sites). A strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. CSCS card (preferred).

Desirable Skills & Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a customer care role within the construction industry. Relevant trade qualifications or apprenticeships (NVQ, City & Guilds, etc.).
