Multi-Skilled Operative (Plasterer)

Salary:

36,051.38 per annum

Base in Stafford with regular travel across Shropshire and Staffordshire

Hours:

40 hours per week

About the role:

We're looking for an experience Multi-Skilled Operative - Plasterer to join our Property Plus team on a full time, permanent basis. In this role you'll be carrying out high quality plastering and maintenance work across our properties, helping us deliver safe, well-maintained home and an excellent service to our residents.

What you'll do:

As a Multi-Skilled Operative Plasterer, you will

carry out all aspects of plastering, patching and making good, as well as other related trades (carpentry, wet trades and building finishes). Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, on-time and in line with health and safety regulations Manage your workload effectively from planning visits and using electronic job orders to keeping accurate records. Maintain tools, equipment and van stock to ensure you're always prepared for the job. Work professionally in tenant's homes, providing excellent customer service at all times. Take part in the out of hours rota (when required).

What we're looking for:

City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Plastering (or equivalent) Substantial experience working at height and in planned maintenance / repairs Skills in related trades with the ability to 'make good' to a high standard Strong knowledge of health and safety practices Ability to use tablets and electronic scheduling systems A full UK Driving Licence Excellent communication skills, a customer-focused approach and the ability to plan your work effectively.
