Multi-Skilled Security Systems Engineer | Up to 40,000
We're on the hunt for a highly capable Multi-Skilled Engineer with proven experience in the installation, servicing, and commissioning of Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems. This is a hands-on role for someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership of projects, and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and commission Intruder Alarm systems (primarily Pyronix)
• Install and maintain CCTV systems (Hikvision and similar)
• Install and configure Access Control systems (Paxton and other client-specified platforms)
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and upgrades
• Liaise with clients on-site to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues
• Complete documentation and reports accurately and on time
• Work independently or as part of a team on varied projects

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in security systems installation

Strong working knowledge of:

• Pyronix intruder systems
• Hikvision CCTV systems
• Paxton access control systems (plus flexibility to work with other brands)
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Full UK driving licence (or local equivalent)
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Desirable:

• ECS/CSCS card or equivalent
• IPAF/PASMA certification
• Experience with networking and IP-based systems
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required
