This is a fixed-term position until July 2025, with the possibility of becoming permanent from the next academic year

Salary:

26,000 to 36,000 scale

English, Maths or PSHE

to support practical learning while delivering high-quality classroom teaching.

What you'll do

Teach engaging lessons across English, Maths and/or PSHE, linked to real vocational contexts. Support learners in practical sessions alongside specialist instructors in Construction. Use creative approaches to build confidence, literacy, numeracy and personal development. Work closely with a small, committed team to plan, assess and remove barriers to learning. Contribute to the wider life of the Academy--enrichment, trips, events and pastoral care.

You'll be a great fit if you have

QTS (or you're working towards a relevant teaching qualification). Confidence to teach core subjects and support practical, vocational learning. A flexible, resilient approach suited to a

non-mainstream

environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly. A team mindset and genuine belief that every learner can succeed.
