Multi-Trade Operative




Banbury - covering the Banbury and Cherwell area




36,095 - 37,994 per year




40 hours per week




We have an opportunity for a Multi-Trade Operative to join our Operations Voids/Responsive team, based in Banbury. In this role you will be responsible for carrying out general repairs to both void and tenanted properties. The role will include both team and lone working and you will attend up to 10 sites a day. We are looking for a team player with experience in a previous trade role however training will be provided where needed.


The role of Multi-Trade Operative

will include:




Attending properties to carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties Resolving problems or setting into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed Maintaining a suitable van stock level and restocking these when needed Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer

Skills and experiences:




To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, electrical. If Plumbing Level 3 is required, Unvented - G3 Certificate and Water Regulations (WRAS). Experience in working to deadlines and prioritising work loads Skills in some of the following disciplines - Plumbing, Plastering, Carpentry and Joinery, kitchen and bathroom installations, UPVC door and window fitting Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
