Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for engineering excellence? At MBA Worksop, we're on the lookout for a Multiskilled Engineer with Electrical bias who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is committed to keeping our operations running at peak performance. As part of our dedicated Engineering team, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our plant and equipment, minimising downtime, and driving continuous improvement. What You'll Be Doing
Delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs on machinery and services.
Conducting safety checks, machinery start-ups and shutdowns, ensuring optimal productivity at all times.
Identifying and reporting equipment faults, conducting dynamic risk assessments, and promoting a strong Health & Safety culture.
Liaising with production teams and supporting process improvements through effective communication and collaboration.
Maintaining detailed records of work carried out, tools and parts used, and signing off completed tasks.
Mentoring new team members and contributing to a positive team spirit during shift briefings and handovers.
Keeping your work area safe, clean, and organised, while taking care of tools and equipment.
Supporting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reacting swiftly to breakdowns to ensure minimal disruption.
About You
You're a time-served Mechanical/Electrical Engineer with solid experience in manufacturing or processing environments.
You have a knack for problem-solving and a practical approach to maintenance, with experience in PPM and working with PLC/HMI systems.
You're familiar with extrusion equipment and understand the importance of working safely and efficiently.
You take ownership of your work, are eager to learn from challenges, and are always looking for ways to improve.
A strong team player, you're happy to share knowledge, support your colleagues, and contribute to a culture of excellence.
You bring a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a commitment to doing the job right--first time, every time.
