Music Teacher (Primary Schools) - EYFS, KS1 & KS2

is looking for an inspiring music teacher to join our team!

We provide full classroom music tuition to primary schools, and we are seeking a

creative, reliable, and passionate teacher

who works well with young children and can deliver engaging, high-quality lessons.

Hours:



Tuesdays, 9:30am-3:30pm (5 hours of full classroom music delivery)
Wednesdays, 9:30am-3:30pm (5 hours of full classroom music delivery)

About the Role:


You will be responsible for teaching music in line with the

National Curriculum for Music

, using the

Charanga scheme of work

as a foundation. Lesson plans from Charanga can be used and adapted, and you are encouraged to incorporate your

own creative ideas

to enhance learning. You must be able to work effectively with the school's

learning objectives

to ensure lessons support their wider curriculum goals.

Key Responsibilities:



Deliver engaging and age-appropriate music lessons following the National Curriculum Teach content from the Charanga scheme of work, adapting and enhancing lessons where appropriate Prepare and organise lessons in advance Demonstrate

good behaviour management

and create a positive classroom environment Maintain reliable, consistent attendance and professionalism Collaborate effectively with school staff and Anthem Tuition

Ideal Candidate Qualities:



Fun, professional, and confident in front of a class Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management skills Strong attention to detail and a positive, proactive attitude Able to explain musical concepts in a clear, accessible, child-friendly way Passionate about educating and inspiring children through music

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:



Degree in Music, Music Performance, or Music Technology Grade 8 level (or equivalent) on your instrument Previous teaching experience Experience working with SEND children PGCE or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
