Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Educator to join our educational team. Delivering music lessons in West Midlands, and Staffordshire, the ideal candidate will inspire students through engaging lessons that foster a love for music and enhance their musical skills. This role requires creativity, patience and classroom management skills. We deal predominantly with whole classes of primary school children.

Duties

Develop and implement comprehensive music lesson plans tailored to the needs and abilities of students. Teach a variety of musical instruments and vocal techniques to whole classes of primary schools children Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development. Organise and lead music performances, recitals, or competitions to showcase student talent. Collaborate with other educators to integrate music into the broader curriculum. Maintain an up-to-date strategies, and educational resources.

Qualifications

A Music qualification and/or experience is helpful experience in teaching music to students of various ages and skill levels. Proficiency in playing multiple instruments is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively. Patience, creativity, and adaptability in teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles. The ability to work as part of a growing team is essential A passion for fostering a lifelong appreciation for music among students.
