Job Description

Small online shop selling second-hand music and gaming equipment, based in Linlithgow. Looking to hire someone on a self-employed basis to help process items.

This role would be suitable for someone reliable, polite, and hard-working. Please only apply if you are able to type with a good wpm and are comfortable with technology, as you will need to identify faults with devices such as headsets, controllers, keyboards etc. quickly and accurately.

Any kind of interest in audio/gaming equipment would be beneficial.

Must be able to get to Williamscraig Holiday Cottages (south of Linlithgow). Shifts could be any time within Sunday 3-10pm and Monday-Friday 11am-10pm. Exact times flexible. Preference will be given to someone who is available on Sundays, as this is the busiest day.

Your job will primarily consist of testing, cleaning, and listing items. You will also help with picking and packing orders. The job requires a mixture of attention to detail and speed, and therefore isn't for everyone. Most tasks will involve working alone, though someone will always be around to help.

The ideal candidate should be:

A fast typer, comfortable using keyboard shortcuts (particularly macOS) to work quickly Proficient in English with good grammar Able to lift boxes up to 15kg
