Job Description

Reporting to the Music Bequests Chair, this position aims to connect diverse communities with the work of Music at Queen's and SARC: Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Sound and Music.
This will involve consultation and engagement with stakeholders, including schools, community groups, arts and cultural organisations, festivals, promoters and research dissemination platforms; designing and carrying out bespoke recruitment activities (UG to PGR), producing events (concerts, festivals, exhibitions) and contributing to social media and website content.
This is a part-time post at 0.6FTE working 3 days per week.
About the person:
Essential Criteria:

  • Arts Management, Music or Creative Arts degree, or equivalent.
  • Considerable, relevant professional experience to include the development and delivery of creative programmes and events for a wide range of audience groups.
  • Considerable experience of delivering and coordinating outreach activities.
  • Demonstrable experience of working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, forming and maintaining strategic relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with experience using a range of data to inform strategic and operational decision making.
