About Us

The Bunker CIC is Sunderland's grassroots community music hub, established in 1982. We provide inclusive spaces, programmes, and opportunities for disadvantaged people, using music and creativity to improve wellbeing and skills. We are now seeking a part-time Project Co-ordinator to help deliver new projects, outreach, and community engagement. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure project goals are met efficiently and effectively, while also supervising team members and facilitating the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee project timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule. Plan and deliver outreach work to engage new local communities. Research, plan and deliver new projects, ensuring accessibility and inclusion. Obtain details and maintain accurate records of all project-related activities. Create, distribute, and collect measurable and descriptive data. Liaise with local partners and venues Deliver supportive 1-to-1 and group sessions with participants. Monitor & evaluate ticket sales, social media reach, and online engagement. Create case studies, and gather photo/video evidence to capture impact. Hold regular reviews with volunteers and participants, providing feedback and support. Facilitate steering group meetings, contribute ideas, and act on recommendations. Prepare presentations and reports for review, showcasing project progress and outcomes.

Person Specification

Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Great IT skills-(Microsoft Excel etc) Strong organisational and communication skills. Proven Partnership-building ability. Experience of project delivery, preferably in community arts, heritage, or music. Confident in engaging participants of all ages and backgrounds. A friendly, professional attitude and an ambassador for our organisation. Ability to track outcomes and prepare case studies. Ability to analyse data effectively to support decision-making processes. Creative, flexible, and committed to inclusion.

Includes evenings/weekends as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
