Join the Anthem Tuition Team - Cover Teacher & Admin Assistant (26 hours/week)

For multi-instrumentalist musicians (guitar & drums) with a passion for people, music, and organisation

musician who can play both guitar and drums

to take on a

Front of House/Admin Assistant

role.

You'll be the first face families see when they walk through our doors-friendly, confident, and calm under pressure. You'll also be an essential behind-the-scenes organiser, keeping things running smoothly while contributing musically to our concerts and cover teaching.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday:

4:00pm - 8:00pm

Saturday:

9:00am - 3:00pm

Total:

26 hours per week

Pay:

1577.33/month

Key Responsibilities

Front of House & Customer Support

Greet and welcome students and parents with warmth and professionalism Follow our 'Student Exit Policy' to safely manage pickups Open/close the building and ensure classrooms are set up and ready Observe class changeovers and support a smooth flow through the evening

Admin & Organisation

Schedule and update lessons using our music school software Handle reschedules, payments, and general communication Maintain registers and assist with term planning Write out musical charts and prep materials for concerts and events

Building Maintenance & Health & Safety

Keep the school clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times Conduct regular checks on classroom equipment and fix/flag any issues Support building upkeep and fix/report any maintenance needs

Musical Support

Be ready to

step in as a cover teacher

for beginner

guitar or drum

classes Assist with event planning, rehearsals, and show days Contribute musical insight to the planning and delivery of performances

Who We're Looking For

Essential

Able to confidently play both

guitar and drums

(teaching experience a plus) Strong verbal and written communication skills Highly organised and efficient under pressure Warm, friendly, approachable and good with children and families Confident with basic IT and admin systems (training provided) Proactive, reliable, and solution-focused

Bonus

Driving licence and access to a car Experience working in a school, youth, or music education setting Able to play piano or sing Experience in events, performances, or youth concerts
