. This is a wonderful opportunity to help children develop their musical abilities, rhythm, and confidence while learning to play the recorder in a fun and supportive setting.
The club takes place
Wednesdays, 3:30pm - 4:30pm (1 hour per week)
, giving children a regular chance to explore music, practice their skills, and enjoy making music together.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise children during recorder sessions in a safe, engaging, and enjoyable environment.
Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate activities that support musical development and teamwork.
Encourage confidence, creativity, and enjoyment while learning a woodwind instrument.
Maintain open communication with parents and school staff about children's progress.
Ensure instruments and the music area are well cared for, organised, and ready for each session.
Experience & Skills
Experience teaching or tutoring children in music, especially woodwind instruments.
Ability to motivate and engage children in a structured yet fun and interactive way.
Strong English communication skills for working with children, parents, and staff.
A background in music education, performance, or teaching is highly desirable.
