About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Music Therapy Manager to lead our diverse music therapy programme. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the community by leading our team and shaping services that transform lives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the charity's music therapy programme, ensuring high-quality, client-centred services.
Continued Professional Development of music therapists.
Ensure compliance with professional standards, policy and process, including role responsibility on behalf of the charity for both health and safety and safeguarding.
Lead our team of contracted music therapists in the community and our business management and development team based in our office in Winchester.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to expand outreach and impact.
Monitor programme outcomes and report to trustees.
Demonstrate impact to funders and grant-makers.
Advocate the charity and the profession at events and conferences.
Organise the annual Key Changes Music Therapy Conference.
Contribute to financial decision-making and fundraising initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Passion for using music to create positive social change.
HCPC accredited music therapist with at least 5 years' experience as a music therapy practitioner, preferably in range of clinical settings.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Previous leadership or management experience, ideally in a charity or community setting.
