Key Responsibilities

Provide professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, acrylics, BIAB (Builder in a Bottle), hard gel, gel polish, and shellac. Design and apply custom nail art based on client preferences and current trends. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organised workspace in compliance with health and safety standards. Offer expert consultation to clients, assessing their needs and recommending suitable treatments and aftercare. Stay current with the latest nail trends, techniques, and products. Manage client bookings, schedules, and payments. Promote services through social media, referrals, and salon promotions. Maintain and manage nail product inventory, placing orders as needed. Build and retain a loyal client base through excellent service and professional conduct.

Requirements

Proficient in acrylics, BIAB/hard gel, and nail art. Experienced in manicures and pedicures, with a strong understanding of nail health. NVQ Level 1-2 in Nail Services or equivalent qualification. Previous experience working in a salon or similar setting. Strong attention to detail and artistic flair. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Self-motivated, reliable, and well-organised. Exceptional hygiene habits and knowledge of industry regulations Fully self-employed with valid insurance (or willing to set up) DBS certification preferred (or willing to apply) Self-employed with a valid UTR and the ability to invoice
Job Types: Fixed term contract, Freelance, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour
