The Beauty Cave is a thriving, modern salon based in the heart of Cheddar village. Known for its friendly atmosphere and high-quality services, we offer a full range of beauty treatments including nails, facials, massage, waxing, brows, lash services, and semi-permanent makeup. With a growing client base and strong footfall, we are expanding our passionate team.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled, confident, and motivated Beautician & Nail Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a small, fast-paced team. You must be client-focused, take pride in your work, and be comfortable maintaining high standards consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a wide range of beauty treatments including: Nail services (gel polish, builder gel, manicures/pedicures) Waxing (including intimate waxing preferred) Facials and skincare (training can be provided) Lash and brow treatments Deliver excellent customer service in a calm, professional manner Manage your own time effectively to accommodate a busy appointment schedule Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the salon Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Ideal Candidate Will Have:

At least 2 year of experience in a salon or similar environment NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Beauty Therapy Strong skills in nails and waxing are essential The ability to work independently and take initiative A friendly and professional attitude Great communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable (Not Essential):

Experience with Dermalogica skincare or similar professional facial brands Experience in laser hair removal or interest in upskilling (training may be available) Experience with brow tattooing or SPMU (semi-permanent makeup)

Schedule:

Monday to Saturday (rotating or flexible shifts) Some Saturdays may be required Family-friendly hours considered for the right candidate
