North Coast Nannies is recruiting a Part Time Nanny in the Ballymoney area
North Coast Nannies is seeking a professional and caring childcare professional to support a welcoming family with two children, one aged five and one aged eleven months. The role centres primarily on caring for the younger child while offering support for the older sibling around school times. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing environment and supporting the children's development.
Position Details
This is a part time role with a start date of January or February 2026.
The required weekly schedule is:
10 hours a week (with the possibility of needing more in the future)
Monday 8am-12pm Tuesday 4pm-6pm Friday 8am-12pm
Key Responsibilities
Providing attentive and developmentally appropriate care Creating engaging play opportunities Preparing bottles and simple meals Supporting nap time and maintaining a calm atmosphere Keeping child related spaces tidy and organised Helping with small errands when requested
Candidate Requirements
Paediatric First Aid certification (Or willing to obtain) Recognised childcare qualification A non smoking lifestyle Comfort working in a home with a friendly dog Ability to prepare meals for young children A trustworthy, family focused and child-centred approach
Salary
The position offers between ten and fifteen pounds per hour based on experience.
