Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively while performing various cleaning tasks. A background in childcare or nannying is advantageous, as there may be opportunities to assist with educational activities for children.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces. Ensure all areas of the home are tidy and organised. Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes. Prepare meals as needed and assist with childcare responsibilities when required. Educate children in basic life skills and assist with homework or activities as necessary. Drive children to school or extracurricular activities when needed. Communicate effectively in English; knowledge of French is a plus for engaging with children in language development.

Experience

Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not essential. Experience in nannying or childcare is highly desirable. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are crucial for maintaining high standards of cleanliness. A valid driving licence is preferred for transportation duties related to childcare.
