About the Role

We are looking for a warm, reliable, and responsible after-school nanny to care for our two daughters (ages 8 and 6) during weekday afternoons. The ideal candidate will be friendly, organised, and able to create a fun and supportive environment after school. A car and valid driving licence are required.

We also have a 15-week-old Golden Retriever puppy, so being comfortable around dogs is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Collecting the children from school and ensuring a safe journey home or to after-school activities Helping with homework and school projects Driving the children to clubs, classes, and playdates Preparing healthy snacks and light meals Creating a safe, supportive, and enjoyable after-school environment Communicating clearly with parents about the day's activities and any concerns Light household duties related to the children, including: Tidying and organising the children's rooms Folding and putting away clean clothes Keeping play areas and belongings neat and orderly Cleaning and tidying the kitchen after use (e.g., clearing dishes, wiping surfaces, putting things away) Assisting with basic puppy care as needed (e.g., letting the puppy out into the garden, giving water, light supervision)

Requirements

Previous childcare experience preferred Full UK driving license and access to a reliable car Comfortable around dogs Excellent communication and organisational skills Friendly, dependable, and punctual Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain) First Aid certification (preferred )

Pay: 15.00-18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 17 per week
