Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, flexible and caring nanny/housekeeper to support our busy but happy family home near the centre of Cheltenham, and to help with our three children aged 11, 12 and 14.

Working hours are Monday to Friday from 4pm - 9pm. This will start with school pick-up and then either return home to follow the kids' evening routine or take them to and from swimming training.

If they are at home then you will be expected to prepare simple meals, oversee homework, play games and ensure the house is clean and tidy.

Most evenings the children will have sports activities. They are keen swimmers and train a few nights per week in Gloucester. On those evenings you will take them to the leisure centre and wait in the cafe while they train, then bring them home afterwards. Dinner will be a packed dinner prepared earlier. You will then supervise them as they get ready for bed, and ensure the house is tidy. The children are bright and personable and will enjoy developing a relationship with you.

If extra hours are wanted then some light housekeeping is also possible. This will include cleaning the family home, doing the laundry, ironing, etc. There is also an additional option for some morning hours (7:30-8:30am), if required.

Requirements:

Minimum two years' nannying experience

A driver is essential for this role

The nanny will need to use their own car for duties (petrol is reimbursed).
