Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional childcare and housekeeping services for our family. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating and nurturing children, ensuring their safety and well-being while engaging them in fun and educational activities. This role requires someone who is not only skilled in childcare but also possesses the ability to communicate effectively in English, with additional language skills such as French being a plus.

Duties

Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Plan and engage in age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Assist with homework and educational tasks, fostering a love for learning. Prepare meals and snacks, ensuring dietary needs are met. Maintain a clean and organised environment for the children. Drive children to activities or appointments as needed. Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns. Provide emotional support and guidance to help children navigate their daily challenges.

Qualifications

DBS check Proven experience in nannying or childcare, with references available upon request. Strong command of English; proficiency in French is highly desirable. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to educate and engage children through creative play and structured activities. Patience, reliability, and a nurturing disposition are essential traits for this role. First Aid certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
