Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional childcare for our family. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. This role requires a blend of teaching, engaging activities, and basic household support to promote the children's development and well-being.

Responsibilities

Supervise and engage with children in a variety of activities, including playtime, educational games, and outdoor excursions. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while adhering to dietary restrictions. Assist with homework and educational tasks, fostering a love for learning through creative teaching methods. Maintain a clean and organised environment, including tidying up after activities and ensuring the children's areas are safe. Communicate effectively with parents regarding the children's progress, behaviour, and any concerns that may arise. Provide transportation for children to school, extracurricular activities, or playdates as needed (driving required).

Experience

Previous experience in childcare or nannying is essential. Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of French is a plus. A background in teaching or educational support is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and parents alike. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation duties.
