Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Part-Time Nanny to provide exceptional care for 3 children, two of primary school age and one 14 month old. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of the children while also fostering their development through educational activities. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage daily routines, engage in play, and assist with homework while creating a positive atmosphere and maintaining the home. The hours required is Monday-Friday 1-5pm with the two eldest children being collected from school at 3.30pm.

Duties



Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Plan and engage in educational activities that promote learning and development, including basic language skills in English and French if applicable. Prepare meals and snacks, ensuring they are nutritious and cater to any dietary restrictions. Assist with homework and provide support for school-related tasks. Drive children to and from school, extracurricular activities, or playdates as needed. Maintain a clean and organised environment for the children, including tidying up after activities. Communicate effectively with parents regarding the children's progress, behaviour, and any concerns that may arise. Foster a nurturing relationship with the children to encourage their emotional growth. Housekeeping duties such as washing.

Qualifications



Previous experience in nannying or childcare is essential. Strong communication skills in English. A valid driving licence is essential for transporting children safely. Ability to educate through engaging activities that stimulate learning and curiosity. Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children are crucial traits for this role. First Aid certification is mandatory; willingness to obtain it is expected. DBS Check is mandatory Registered with the childcare service for tax free childcare payments.
