Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional childcare in a warm and supportive environment, split between two families. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the well-being and development of children, ensuring they are safe, engaged, and educated. This role requires a proactive individual who can create a positive atmosphere while managing daily routines and activities.

Duties

Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development. Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children at all times. Assist with homework and educational activities, fostering a love for learning. Prepare meals and snacks as needed, ensuring dietary requirements are met. Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns that may arise. Drive children to school, extracurricular activities, or playdates when necessary. Cleaning house to high standard Washing clothes, ironing and putting away Making beds and washing/putting away linen Implement routines that encourage good behaviour, social skills, and independence.

Skills

Proficient in English; knowledge of French is an advantage to enhance language exposure for children. Strong background in childcare or nannying, with the ability to educate through play and structured activities. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both children and parents. A caring attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm demeanour. A valid driving licence is preferred for transportation duties.
