Avena is recruiting for a visionary National Account Manager (NAM) to join our progressive team. This role is at the heart of our commercial strategy, tasked with steering Avena's growth through innovative sales strategies and established customer relationships across the United Kingdom. The ideal candidate is not just a leader but a trendsetter, utilising a blend of market insight, and a data-driven approach to keep Avena at the forefront of the industry. Reports to:

Head of National Accounts

Key Responsibilities:



Revenue Growth and Customer Retention

:
Focus on winning new business, upselling within existing accounts, and retaining customers to maintain in-year revenue.

Strategic Sales Planning

:
Develop and execute sales strategies based on market, competitor, and customer insights to achieve and surpass sales goals.

Account Management

:
Serve as the primary point of contact for national accounts, ensuring seamless customer experiences and relationship growth.

Cross-Functional Leadership

:
Collaborate across departments to improve product offerings, service delivery, and market positioning.

Data-Driven Sales Optimization

:
Leverage CRM systems and analytics tools for trend forecasting and tailored customer engagement strategies.

Adaptability & Market Awareness

:
Monitor market trends and respond swiftly to changes and emerging needs to maintain competitiveness.

Value-Driven Leadership

:
Uphold and promote ethical, sustainable, and inclusive business practices.

Customer Satisfaction Monitoring

:
Use tools like NPS and customer feedback systems to identify and address satisfaction gaps.

Professional Development & Industry Awareness

:
Stay updated on trends, best practices, and external conditions through events and training opportunities.

Performance Reporting

:
Provide leadership with updates on regional sales performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:



Experience

:
Demonstrated success in sales and account management, preferably in B2B services or Data Security, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.

Skills

:
Expertise in strategic planning, relationship building, and leveraging CRM and data analytics for sales optimization. Familiarity with methodologies like Miller Heiman - Strategic Selling Principles.

Characteristics

:
Ethical mindset aligned with company values of integrity, sustainability, and diversity. Strong ability to motivate teams and drive a sense of urgency toward shared goals.

Other Requirements

:
Eligible to work in the UK with a clean criminal record and a full, clean driving license.

Pay: 45,000.00-50,000.00 per year
