-Job Summary


As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving new revenue growth by identifying and securing business opportunities nationally. Your primary focus will be on cultivating relationships with potential clients and presenting tailored solutions that align with our company's product and service offerings, specifically in machine sales, including but limited to coffee machines and still and sparkling water systems. This role demands a proactive, results-driven individual with a strong track record in closing high-value deals and managing complex sales cycles.

Responsibilities



.

1. Business Development & Lead Generation:



Proactively identify, target, and engage new business prospects within the assigned territory.

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to penetrate high-potential industries and accounts, particularly related to coffee machines and beverage systems.

Generate leads through networking, cold calling, market research, and attending industry events.

2. Sales Strategy & Execution:



Gain a deep understanding of the company's product/service portfolio, including capital sales, third-party leasing, rental options, maintenance agreements, and service contracts.

Present and sell customised solutions to prospective clients, addressing their specific business challenges.

Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.

Work towards achieving a target of 1 million run rate by the end of 2026, with monthly sales targets building up to 80,000.

3. Client Relationship Management:



Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders within potential client organizations, especially in new sectors.

Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights into market trends, competitive landscape, and strategic opportunities in machine sales.

Ensure client satisfaction through regular follow-ups and by providing exceptional service and support.

4. Market Analysis & Reporting:



Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends in the coffee and hydration sectors.

Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and

competitive intelligence to the Director.

Utilise CRM tools to manage leads, track progress, and analyse sales data for continuous improvement.

5. Collaboration & Teamwork:



Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align messaging and campaigns with market needs, particularly for coffee machines and water systems.

Share insights and best practices with the sales team to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance personal and team performance.

Proven experience in a sales or account management role, preferably within a relevant industry. Experience in selling to National Account leisure/hospitality customers Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels. Excellent analytical skills to assess data and make informed decisions. Proficiency in service management systems or similar CRM software is highly desirable. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on delivering results. Flexibility to work and support other teams where necessary

Requirements



5+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the Catering/Coffee equipment or Service related markets

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing high-value deals.

Strong understanding of sales methodologies and CRM software.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to 50,000.00 per year
