We are seeking a person with expert brewing knowledge and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and motivating the sales team to achieve targets.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet organisational objectives
Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of sales targets
Identify new market opportunities and expand the customer base through targeted outreach and networking
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction
Analyse sales data to monitor performance trends and adjust strategies accordingly
Prepare regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and market insights for senior management
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns that support sales initiatives
Conduct training sessions for sales staff to enhance product knowledge and selling skills
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the organisation's offerings
Skills
Proven experience in brewery sales management role, preferably within the relevant industry sector
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients at all levels
Strategic thinker with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite; data analysis skills are advantageous
Ability to analyse market trends and adapt strategies accordingly
A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities
Relevant qualifications in Business Administration, Marketing or related fields are desirable but not essential
