Main Purpose of Job



Deploy the UK sales strategy via the Area Business Managers and grow UK sales in line with the budget. Identifying new revenue streams within the UK along with NPD deployment.

Main Tasks/Responsibilities



Grow GBUK UK sales in line with the budget, delivering consistent YOY growth. Commercially analyse GBUK key markets, growth, margin and opportunities Use this information to develop the GBUK sales strategy alongside the Senior Leadership Team including Head of Sales, Sales Director, CCO. Full accountability for pricing, pricing proposals, rebates and tender success Identifying ways to grow our share of wallet while maintaining healthy margins Assess market needs and follow trends in the business to anticipate future developments Collaborate with key departments and stakeholders to increase sales; NPD, Marketing, Purchasing and Customer Service Continually review and improve the sales process, and where applicable other internal processes. Identify, build and develop a network of key customer contacts Lead and Motivate the Area Business Managers to achieve their goals and targets. Regularly attend key meetings with Area Business Managers. Carry out quarterly reviews with the ABMs as well as conducting quarterly team meetings. Provide detailed monthly reports to Head of UK Sales. Reporting will be both historical and forward looking. CRM reporting, particularly analysing visits made by hospital and product categories. Maintaining our relationship with our NHS Supply Chain framework managers, as well as having contact at a more senior level Work with purchasing on the forecasting of new business with overall responsibility for stock holding for new product ranges and new accounts.

Knowledge & Qualifications



Essential



Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Life-science, Business.

At least 3 years' sales management experience

Thorough knowledge of the NHS competitive marketplace

Thorough knowledge of the decision-making process with customers

Medical device experience

Highly competent with Excel

Commercially minded

Full drivers' license and access to car

Fluent in English
