We are now seeking a dedicated Contracts Manager to join our ambitious team and play a key role in delivering our exciting projects.
Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated Contracts Manager to take ownership of projects from pre-construction planning through site setup to final completion, including and ensuring full compliance with CDM regulations. You will coordinate closely with planners, procurement, accounts team, and site teams to ensure each project is planned, effectively resourced, and delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving project success across multiple locations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and exceeding client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage remediation projects nationwide, maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and CDM compliance.
Plan, coordinate, and supervise site activities, ensuring strict compliance with health and safety regulations.
Liaise daily with site teams and lead the Site Manager, offering advice, support and assistance when required.
Liaise with clients, site managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Oversee all stages of projects, from pre-construction to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
Prepare detailed project reports, risk assessments, and method statements.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards.
Resolve any issues or conflicts promptly to maintain project momentum.
Mentor and manage site teams, fostering high performance and adherence to company policies.
Cover Site Manager absence if required.
Requirements:
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification - essential.
First Aid certification - essential.
Strong knowledge of construction practices, regulations, and multi-disciplinary project delivery, including remediation projects - essential.
Proven experience managing multiple projects within the construction industry.
Thorough understanding of and ability to ensure CDM compliance on all projects - essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
Willingness to travel to various project sites across the UK - essential.
Full UK manual driving license.
